Bentley Mulsanne Key Celebrates Its Centenary
Bentley's bespoke coachbuilding division, Mulliner, has designed a unique keycase to celebrate the brand's centenary. It's made of Dark Stained Burr Walnut with Piano Black Veneer and includes a fluttering "B" paperweight, keys, and an original 1930s booklet that features never-before-seen 1930s 8 Litre images.

Design
Bentley is famous for its extravagant and luxurious automobiles however, even keys are designed to stand out. Bentley Mulliner reinvented and designed the Mulsanne to be the ultimate Grand Touring vehicle. The rear seats are designed to provide passengers with the most comfortable and private experience. They were inspired by the luxury private aircraft. The unique heating and ventilation as well as air conditioning system was developed to provide each passenger with the perfect temperature control.
The Mulsanne has twin turbocharged 6.75 litre W12 engine that puts out 560bhp and 479lb-ft of torque. This incredibly powerful power is paired with a new suspension system that provides Bentley's trademark quiet ride.
Bentley has released a special specification for cars manufactured after the year 2019 to commemorate its centenary. This is known as the Centenary Specification. The cabin features cross-stitching and contrast stitching in Centenary Gold throughout. The Bentley Wings are embroidered with Centenary Gold on the headrests, seats and other areas of the car. Function
The Bentley Mulsanne Key comes with two buttons: one that opens the trunk, and the second that is used to start the vehicle. It also has a switch that can switch on the parking break. There is a knob that can fold and unfold the mirrors while parked in tight areas. This feature helps you get in and out of your vehicle.
The key is made of vegetable tanned leather and takes over two days to create each one. The key is cut by hand, shaped, stitched after which it is sealed and polished to produce a premium result. It is strong and compact, and will fit the Bentley key perfectly. Its design is similar to the Volkswagen Phaeton's huge car key, but feels heavier and more premium.
Secure-A-Key is also included to protect against keyless entry theft. This device is inserted inside the remote-control key fob. It disables it after a few minutes of inactivity, which prevents thieves from transmitting the key's frequency to other devices that can unlock and start the vehicle.
